Facebook confusion

A friend on Facebook posted a "Nazis suck.  Live nazis suck.  Dead Nazis suck" type of post, and said it was likely to be deleted for violation of TOS.

Actually, I think he's wrong, but we will wait to see if his prognostication comes to pass.

I said that he wasn't advocating violence (rioting), or hate groups (Nazis), nor was he advocating murder, so it didn't violate TOS (IMO).  Of course, I can't speak for FB.

Then , someone brought up the fact that NAZI means NATIONAL SOCIALIST.  (Take a look at that term.)  It's not Nationalism.  It's not Socialism. 

My statement, below, I suspect he'll remove because it disagrees with him.  But we shall see.

Honestly, I don't believe that they have removed posts that say something sucks.

If you were calling for murder, however, THAT would be removed (Or ought to be!), as it advocates violence, hatred and murder!

Arjun made a statement that many people seem to ignore -- that NAZI is short for NATIONAL SOCIALIST.

Let's look at that again. It's not Nationalism. And it's not Socialism. It when the two are combined, and and a Dose (and an unhealthy dose, at that) of more hatred is thrown in.

Socialism is the enemy of capitalism. It's not even political, it's ECONOMIC.

It's actually based on hatred-- hatred of the rich. It's also based in Covetousness. Remember? "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, or manservant, or maidservant, or anything that is thy neighbor's." People ignore that, too.

Yeshua had harsh words for bankers. He had harsh words for the rich. But he ALSO defended their right to be rich. ("Friend, I have done you no wrong. Did you not agree to work this day for a denarius? I choose to give to the last what I have given to you. Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with my own? Or is your eye evil because I am good?" (Do you begrudge my generosity?)

It's true: Nazis do not have a place in a world which is supposed to be based in love.

You're quite right in saying "NAZIS SUCK."

But, IMO, you're not in violation of anything. You've told the truth.

George Orwell stated it correctly: "In time of universal deception, telling the truth is a revolutionary act."

Will my comment be removed? Will he, while claiming to espouse freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, censor my comment? ONLY TIME WILL TELL. And THAT is the situation...AS I SEE IT!

Of Gosnell, Abortion, Liberals, and Hitler

Yesterday I made a comment (On Facebook) linking the left with Gosnell, who has been linked to killing babies who are aborted but still are born alive. He slit their throats, cut off heads, could be much more but this is the allegations that come out through the news. But I say the MSM has ignored this trial. They give tons of coverage to Casey Anthony, tons to OJ, tons to Sandusky. Why nothing to this doctor of death, this Kevorkian, this Josef Mengele? Really, why don't they?

This believed mass-murderer is not given one iota of coverage. WHY NOT?

The left have no qualms about linking every massacre which involves firearms to the NRA. None what so-ever.

Believe it or not, the Evil Hitler was a leftist. People who stick him on the right have forgotten one little thing: The meaning of "Nazi." That is National Socialist ...

Not all "liberals" support abortion. Not all support Gun Bans, not all support same-gender marriage.

What Hitler did (May he burn in Hell) was evil, just as Gosner's alleged crimes are evil.
Hitler had his hands in the murder of millions because they were Jewish. Or blind. Or deaf. Or had traces of Mongolism. Or were black.

"Just following orders." This reasoning has been used to attempt to justify every crime imaginable.

Post birth abortion is WRONG, just as pre-birth abortion is wrong.There may be times when it is medically necessary, but that still doesn't make it right.

Getting rid of "less desirable people" is what Hitler did. But WHO decides who is "Less desirable"? There are plenty of "idiot savants" out there. And who's deciding what is "less desirable" for the babies?

Perhaps expressing my opinion in the way I did was the pits. There are degrees of liberalism. But when it comes down to it, murder is murder. And too many leftists are playing "G_D". True, there are plenty of nut-zoid conservatives, too. I seem to see more of the "fringe" on the left side. Maybe I'm just too blind to see the right-wing loons.

Hitler was a demon in human form. And, in my own personal opinion, Hitler would have loved abortion. You don't have to agree. This IS America, after all. But when censorship takes hold, we become something less.
