The End and the Beginning

"Never Trump"ers, it appears that you have gotten your wish. Stolen, or not, I don't foresee any change.

If the Senate flips, Then I hope you enjoy your 62.5% tax rate and your "Free stuff" -- which will amount to a bag or two of peanuts on a flight from San Francisco to Paris.

Good luck to you. in 2 or 4 years, when the people realize that they've been duped, your arguments won't wash. We will once again take out the trash.

Thankfully, the Supreme Court is set for a while.

To the rest of you: Hunker down. Prepare for 4 years of poverty, house arrest, censorship, and gun confiscation. Put away your Trump memorabilia. Show the Leftists, who have behaved so poorly in the last 4 years,, how Patriots really act. But sharpen your teeth. They will be our weapons of choice when it is time to bite back. And that time WILL come!

On the Government shutdown

On the 22nd of December, 2018, the Government began a partial shutdown.
Today is the 10th of January, 2019.

Phones go unanswered.  Construction is delayed.  TSA lines are long and slow.
But seriously... does ANYONE, other than Government employees, see anything DIFFERENT?
I'm not.  Those who are just moving into Social Security might be.  Medicare?  They're always slow.
FBI?  Still working.  Army?  Going without pay, I gather.

What began as a massive game of Chicken is now a staring contest.  Who blinks first?

Trump isn't caving.  He wants 5 BILLION for the Wall.  The Democrats STILL won't give it to him.

Congress is getting paid.  Trump hasn't been accepting a salary, as such, donating everything to various causes.

The gridlock continues.  Trump is about to go into the record books as the President with the longest shutdown.

There can be no compromises when neither side will budge.

Would this happen if Congress wasn't getting paid?  Probably not.

I've been looking at various scenarios as to how both side can escape unscathed, neither winning, nor losing.  There are none.

So, what are the other scenarios?
1)  Trump caves.  Take it on the chin, you lose.  The Wall was the Primary Promise.  If he can't get the Democrats to fund even the slightest border security, we're in trouble.
2) The Democrats cave.  They've got nothing to lose, here.  They can continue to hold their breath for as long as the shut can go on.
3.)  Congress caves.  They pass a bill to fund the govt, except the wall.  Trump Vetoes.  Congress overrides.  Democrats would need 70 more votes from the House to get that 2/3 level.  And they'd need 23 GOP Senators, if my figures are right.
4) Impeachment happens.  The Senate, however, needs to try, and the possibility of removal is less than 10%, IMO.
5) The People revolt against the DFL.  They demand things be reopened.
6) The people revolt against the GOP.   Ditto comment above.
7)  The People revolt against everyone.  Total civil war.  Death, Destruction, Pestilence.
8) Martial law is declared.  odds:  7-3 against.  But worrisome.
9) Total Economic collapse.  Major trouble for everyone.

I can't see a win for either side.  I CAN see an invasion happening.  Might be Russia, China, North Korea, Mexico or Canada.  Not France, not England.

Trump wants the Wall.  Democrats want murder (Abortion), free stuff (Socialism), open borders (invasion) and Gun Confiscation.

2 years is a long time to be shut down.

Is there any hope, at all?  We're in a tempest, the winds whip about, shit flies like debris in a tornado or hurricane.

What will it take?  I don't care to speculate on that.

Whatever happens will have long term consequences on the US.  And the world.

There are 2 -- likeliest --  scenarios.  One, I may not bandy about in public.
The other-- total collapse unless someone caves.

BUT... Isn't everything still running?  "Non-essential" is curtailed.  But for how long?
HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
At this rate, 2021... without anything to let the government and the Republic, survive.

Worrisome?  Well... People have been wanting anarchy.  It's on the way...

Some thoughts on the end of the world

As many know, there have been many, many crackpot theories about when the world will end, and how.

They've associated with comets, A-bombs, WWII, WWI, the creation of the state of Israel, and some have predicted 1967.  Of course, we all know that these are just garbage theories, since, according to Yeshua (Jesus for the others of you) said, "Of that hour, nobody knows.  Not the angels, nor the Son, but only the Father."

I was recently re-examining the Book of Daniel, which mentions 1260, 1290, and 1335 days.
It is commonly known as cryptic, since, "A thousand years is as a day in thy sight when it is past, or a watch in the night."

In light of the recent terror happenings, I went over this again and again.  Of course, my hypothesis is just that.  I do not claim to have a direct line to the Almighty.  If I claimed that I knew, I would be contradicting Yeshua, which would make me a liar.

But speculation... well, we're human, we do that.

I asked myself:  "What is the Abomination that makes desolate?"  Well, I don't know.
The statement was "When you see the abomination that makes desolate standing in the Holy Place, then let those who are in Judea flee for the mountains."

So, what's the Holy Place?  In Herod's time and in the time of Yeshua, it would have been Herod's temple, on Temple mount.  But what is there now?  The Dome of the Rock Mosque.  Could this be the reference as to the Abomination?  If you consider what Islam is doing now, laying cities in ruin, Killing indiscriminately, destroying monuments of history... maybe.

I decided to check:  When was the Mosque built?  The answer is given as "7th Century."  So, the year 601-700.  Too broad. When was it finished?  Google gave an answer of 691.  Of course, the calendars were different.  What if it was, say, 3 years earlier?

I did the math:  688 as finishing date.  The cryptic 1260 days (In this case, a day is a year)
1948,  Hmmm.  This is when Israel achieved statehood.  Odd.  Coincidence?

Next date: 1290 days.  Same idea.  1978.  This was the year that Islam began a march on Iran... Khomeni in charge.  In 1979, November, the "Iranian Islamic Revolution" was in full swing, and students took 52 (Some sources say 60) Americans hostage.  Coincidence?  Again?  Something is odd, here.

So, we have that last number.  1335,  This brings us to the year 2023.  Not yet arrived.  The Great Tribulation is believed to be lasting 7 years.  2016.  Trump elected.  A sharp upturn in violence.

Are we in the last days?  There have been many instances of "RED TIDE."  Water turns to blood.  Is this our reference?  Plagues.  Ebola.  AIDS.

The "pouring of the Vial's contents upon the sun."  1/3 of the grass, a 1/3 of the trees...  burnt up.
Could this be a veiled reference to what our "Alarmists" call Global Warming?
Could this actually be correct?  But the Bible says we have cursing at the Creator rather than repenting their misdeeds.  Well, they are cursing humanity.  And yet they are engaging in the exact evils that are predicted.  They aren't repenting.

There is not, yet, a gathering near Megiddo.  But the nations gather against Israel:  Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt is a question mark.  Russia is on the fence, China and North Korea hate Israel.
"RECOGNIZING" is one thing, but you can recognize something and still hate.
ISIS is strong, and many terrorist organizations are uniting under the banner of Islam.  We are in trouble.

This is NOT to be construed as a prophecy of any sort.  But it seems to fit the current situation.
But then, even Nostradamus can be stretched and interpreted in many ways.

Not "AS I SEE IT"....just food for thought.

Potential running-mates for the two major parties.

The fields are all but set... even if the DFL is still UP IN THE AIR... Stupid delegates and all.

So, turn your eye to running mates.

Clinton, if she manages to gain the nod, with or without the Stupid Delegates...

She needs someone who is ideologically like her.  But this will alienate Sanders supporters.  Sanders disagrees with her on some topics, and this is going to kill any chance of him being her VP.  And I'm not sure he'd want it.
     So, what is needed?
      If she chooses a woman, that will alienate men.  That will cost her some support.  Her running-mate needs to be younger by 10-25 years, or she will alienate the late baby-boom generation and POGS.
      If she chooses a non-Caucasian male, she will offend many of the white male democrats.
       I do NOT envy her position.
       Her best bet is likely to be Sanders, anyway.
       So, who do we have?  Let's take a peek, and see if we can divine the possibles.
There's Sanders.  Opposite on Gun Control.  Too much "Free Stuff"  Pushing the $15.00/hour wage is a problem and most GOP will not support.  Businesses certainly won't.  There's Elizabeth Warren, aka "Fauxohantas."  The claim of Native American on her part has been debunked.  But liars don't care.  And neither do fools.
Pelosi (Pee-Lousy).  This would be tantamount to political suicide.
Boxer:  2 women on the ticket is likely to offend men and they will rise up.
Somebody suggestion her husband as VP.  This is Constitutionally forbidden.
Hillary Needs to look a male in the Southwest.  Biden isn't likely to want to serve in the same position again.

Trump has it easier..A little, anyway.  Anyone, male or female, who is minority, or just female..Lots of choices, but many have turned down.
1) Martinez, New Mexico.  Woman, Minority (Latino), relatively young, somewhat well-known.  All pluses.
Unfortunately, she's indicated no, but I suppose it could change.
2) Rubio.  He's said he doesn't want.
3) Sheriff Joe:  Likely to be too old and that is going to be a heated topic.
4) Chris Christie:  Too liberal for me.  From NJ is likely to cause trouble, because both would be from the same geographic area.
5) Rick Santorum.  Not well known, really, outside of PA.  Wasn't really well liked there.
6) Sarah Palin.  Good choice, but maybe too much baggage.
7) Ted Cruz.  Are you kidding me?  Trump and Cruz do not get along.  Although Cruz WOULD ensure Texas in Trump's pocket -- it's not likely.
8) Nikki Haley, S.C.  She's pretty much said no already.
9) Condoleezza Rice.  Solid, female, black, conservative.  Everything that's needed.  Cons:  not really interested, may be too close to Trump's age, perhaps too much baggage from Bush years.

Trump needs to look SOUTH and WEST (That's an idea:  Allen West), possibly California, to at least give him a fighting chance in California.

There's time, yet.  Look for Clinton's announcement by mid-July, probably late June.  Look for Trump's about July 4th.

That's the picture... AS I SEE IT.

Before us, now, the abyss awaits...

So, Shrillary Killem wins California. BUT... Despite her being the "Presumptive" nominee, she will NOT have enough delegates to win on the first ballot. She needs every "STUPID DELEGATE" she's got.

Right now, that looms big. There are about 60 days until the Convention. Lots can happen. She could be indicted, criminally indicted, by a grand jury. She could make a statement like Jesse Jackson did in 1984 that cost him his chance. She could offend an entire group. Burned-up Sandwich could manage to siphon 20% of the Clinton Supporters. If he gets just 100 or so of those delegates the tables will be turned.

The Stupid Delegates, however, are just that: Stupid. They're going to support Shrillary, no matter what. They're racist and sexist, and they're going to support her because of her sex. It doesn't matter what shady stuff she's done. It doesn't matter what scandals she's been in. She's got a "Va-gee-gee", so they'll support her.

47% of the people will support her because it means "Free Stuff." and more than 50% of those will vote for her no matter what.

It doesn't matter that her husband has been accused of rape. It doesn't matter that she told the Ambassador at Benghazi to stand down. It doesn't matter that she's been involved in questionable deals.

Enter Sanders supporters. Some of them will not go quietly. They'll urge him to run as an independent. (Read COMMIE). He could siphon off enough from her to cause havoc.

Trump is STILL a Self-funded campaign-- although some might argue that the Great America Super PAC is raising money. But the DFL candidates are taking it from other countries, in violation of Federal law.

Enter the #Nevertrump group. They may push a 3rd party run by Cruz. Or Ryan. Or someone yet not really on radar.

Only 30-40% of the eligible voters will vote. We will be ruled, either way, by a minority.

DFL says it's "Discrimination" to have to show an ID at the polls. In order to get in to the convention, you need to show an ID. Somewhat Ironic, no?

Pray for our country, folks. We're going downhill fast...but at the end of that is a cliff...We need to stop the descent NOW.
