Some thoughts on the end of the world

As many know, there have been many, many crackpot theories about when the world will end, and how.

They've associated with comets, A-bombs, WWII, WWI, the creation of the state of Israel, and some have predicted 1967.  Of course, we all know that these are just garbage theories, since, according to Yeshua (Jesus for the others of you) said, "Of that hour, nobody knows.  Not the angels, nor the Son, but only the Father."

I was recently re-examining the Book of Daniel, which mentions 1260, 1290, and 1335 days.
It is commonly known as cryptic, since, "A thousand years is as a day in thy sight when it is past, or a watch in the night."

In light of the recent terror happenings, I went over this again and again.  Of course, my hypothesis is just that.  I do not claim to have a direct line to the Almighty.  If I claimed that I knew, I would be contradicting Yeshua, which would make me a liar.

But speculation... well, we're human, we do that.

I asked myself:  "What is the Abomination that makes desolate?"  Well, I don't know.
The statement was "When you see the abomination that makes desolate standing in the Holy Place, then let those who are in Judea flee for the mountains."

So, what's the Holy Place?  In Herod's time and in the time of Yeshua, it would have been Herod's temple, on Temple mount.  But what is there now?  The Dome of the Rock Mosque.  Could this be the reference as to the Abomination?  If you consider what Islam is doing now, laying cities in ruin, Killing indiscriminately, destroying monuments of history... maybe.

I decided to check:  When was the Mosque built?  The answer is given as "7th Century."  So, the year 601-700.  Too broad. When was it finished?  Google gave an answer of 691.  Of course, the calendars were different.  What if it was, say, 3 years earlier?

I did the math:  688 as finishing date.  The cryptic 1260 days (In this case, a day is a year)
1948,  Hmmm.  This is when Israel achieved statehood.  Odd.  Coincidence?

Next date: 1290 days.  Same idea.  1978.  This was the year that Islam began a march on Iran... Khomeni in charge.  In 1979, November, the "Iranian Islamic Revolution" was in full swing, and students took 52 (Some sources say 60) Americans hostage.  Coincidence?  Again?  Something is odd, here.

So, we have that last number.  1335,  This brings us to the year 2023.  Not yet arrived.  The Great Tribulation is believed to be lasting 7 years.  2016.  Trump elected.  A sharp upturn in violence.

Are we in the last days?  There have been many instances of "RED TIDE."  Water turns to blood.  Is this our reference?  Plagues.  Ebola.  AIDS.

The "pouring of the Vial's contents upon the sun."  1/3 of the grass, a 1/3 of the trees...  burnt up.
Could this be a veiled reference to what our "Alarmists" call Global Warming?
Could this actually be correct?  But the Bible says we have cursing at the Creator rather than repenting their misdeeds.  Well, they are cursing humanity.  And yet they are engaging in the exact evils that are predicted.  They aren't repenting.

There is not, yet, a gathering near Megiddo.  But the nations gather against Israel:  Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt is a question mark.  Russia is on the fence, China and North Korea hate Israel.
"RECOGNIZING" is one thing, but you can recognize something and still hate.
ISIS is strong, and many terrorist organizations are uniting under the banner of Islam.  We are in trouble.

This is NOT to be construed as a prophecy of any sort.  But it seems to fit the current situation.
But then, even Nostradamus can be stretched and interpreted in many ways.

Not "AS I SEE IT"....just food for thought.

What goes on, and HOW?

Todays number is 43250. Haven't you guessed YET? I'm waiting for answers, conclusions, even wild guesses. Nobody seems to give a flying pig, so I keep giving a daily number.

Folks, you may recall that two American women, journalists, were tossed into a North Korean Prison, sentenced to 12 years of hard labor. For something as simple as crossing the border, that seems extreme. The gals weren't convicted of espionage, nor drug possession. But you know North Korea...

Obama was able to do nothing. Hillary didn't do anything. Amenesty International squeeked, but that was about it. And so, two mothers wind up in a North Korean prison.

Private citizen, and ex-president Bill Clinton, (AKA Seymour Johnson) flies to North Korea to talk with their "Dear Leader." And he comes home, with 2 women in tow. I wonder how they thank the man. Hmm, Maybe I would prefer NOT knowning. Job well done. But I can't help wondering what was promised.

You can't deal with North Korea. The President of North Korea isn't sane, so far as I can tell. Remember, N.K. is part of the "Axis of Evil" so often spoken about by President Bush. Yet their President pardoned the two women for their (alleged and vastly exaggerated) crimes.

This leads to the question: WHY? What was Kim Jong-Il promised? A lifting of sanctions? Money? Technology? Perhaps a release of a North Korean or three held in a prison around here? Some sort of appeasement? I don't know yet, but I'm sure we'll find out when North Korea attacks Hawaii, or Alaska. Or maybe they'll invade South Korea.

If Clinton didn't have Govt. clearance to go to North Korea, how did he manage to go? Isn't it illegal? Aren't they classified a renegade nation, a nation on the DO NOT FLY TO list?

Well, I could be wrong about them being on the "No Fly" list. That information I currently do not have.

But no private citizen is going to be able to go over, talk to their "Dear Leader," and come home with two prisoners in tow. It doesn't make sense.

While I am grateful that the two women are now home, I think this requires an investigation of the most thorough kind. The question is "What did Obama know, and when did he know it?"

Until we know for sure what "wheeling and dealing" went on, until we know what kind of "carrot" was offered -- we are looking at possible wrong-doing. We need this stuff in the open, NOW.

A possible "gate" is now already open in the Obama Adminstration. But defining this "gate" is still an enormous variable.

Maybe there was no wrong doing. Maybe Kim Jong-Il was drunk, or something. But we need to know now. Or we may regret it later.

What happens in North Korea diesn't stay there

Over the last month, North Korea has tested nukes, launched missiles, and now is threatening Chemical weapons. And what is our government doing? Nothing. The President is sitting on his duff, trying to get the people of THIS country to accept perversion in the Government by granting queers the "Right" to "domestic partner benefits." In other words, the Democrats and the Queers are walking hand in hand, tearing down the country while North Korea is pounding on the door with its missiles. These missiles are designed to go as far as Alaska. And Obama is sitting on his ass, ignoring the problem while Clinton (Hillary) is screaming, and the Republicans are involved in a bunch of arguments with a jerk (Rush).

There's no way you can trust Kim Jong-Il. At least the Secretary of Defense is warning the President that something has to be done about it. But what's being done? The President is pushing faggotry, Queerness, and sin. While Obama is no Muslim, he's apparently not much of a Christian, either.

Then, there's Iran. Big election. It was believed that the President of Iran was in grave danger of losing the election. His challenger was ahead, according to some polls. And what happens? The Incumbent wins handily. Was the election fixed? Were the polls off? Were the results misrepresented?

Well, I can say to ALL of those: "Probably." Unlike the US, which has a poll every day in a non-election year, and about 5 daily in election years, and about 15 daily in Presidential election years, Iran seems to have a limit on polls. That's one good thing I can say for them. But that guy who's their president is a radical, a power-hungry guy who SEEMS TO BE tightening his grip on the country. And to make matters worse, the fella is pushing for Nukes, just as much (if not more so) as North Korea. The only difference is that there have been no tests in Iran. The Nukes are gaining everywhere... Israel has 'em, Egypt has 'em, Iran Wants 'em, Iraq was pushing 'em, Pakistan has 'em, India has 'em.

And what is Obama's response to Iran's election? He expresses "Grave Concern" over the result of the Iranian election.

It's rather interesting, though: Iran and the US have something BIG in common: Questionable elections from the last 8 years! Like it or not, Iran and the US cannot sweep that comparison under the rug.

Obama's apparent lack of reaction to North Korea is disturbing. His response to Iran is troubling. And his agenda is tearing down the principles of Morality that the country has had, and has been losing for the last 3 DFL Administrations.

You can't talk sense into North Korea. You can't talk Peace with Iran. And you can't deal with the Devil.

The "Axis of Evil" still exists. And it is unfortunate that it is winning the battle against the United States. We MUST speak up, and stop the destruction of our own principles before we can step in overseas. And at the rate that's going, it's never going to happen again.
