One person out there Is claiming (or at appears as such) That all "RIght-wingers" are nut jobs;  killing, bombing, hating.  The following information came from "Leftyladi" as sent to MIKE_BLANDEST.    Now, to be specific, Mike is a character In a Book, and really ought to avoid political discussions since it's going to make that book harder to sell.    But let's say this: and I think you'll agree:  There can be nut jobs on EITHER SIDE OF THE FENCE.  It's not just one Side.  It has been my finding that there seem to be more on the DFL side, but I admit I look at it with a biased eye.    THESE were examples used by Leftylady after 3 names were Pointed out as being leftists who resorted to violence.  1 was the guy who attacked the Congresswoman.  They claimed "Right-WIng nut."  But his favorite books were Mein Kampf and the Communist Manifesto.  Those afe LEFTIST, not right-wing.  Also mentioned were Lee Harvey Oswald and John Wilkes Booth, both leftists.     Unabomber, Timothy McVeigh, Eric Robert Rudolph, Holocaust Museum shooting, Austin IRS attack, murder of Dr. Tiller, KKK... Valid argument.  (HER TERM, VALID)   Let's look at the KKK first.  She claimed it to be a Republican organization.  BUT, it was founded by Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Democrat from Tennessee. The purpose, according to the sources, was for a "Reign of terror against blacks and Republicans."    The argument isn't valid for the KKK, I fear.  Sorry, that's strike one.   Let's look at McVeigh, the infamous OK city bomber.  She called him a "Rightwing Christian nut"  -- not exactly those words, but the idea.  However, until his dying day, he considered himself an agnostic.  NOT CHRISTIAN.    Argument, again -- not valid.  Strike two.   Looking at Rudolph (the name wasn't familiar), I find him to be the infamous Atlanta Olympics bomber.  The man CLAIMS to be Christian.  He also said that his crimes were not racially or politically motivated.  But his actions are not Christian, not in the least.  If you take one part of this at face value, you need to accept the other part.    BUT NOTE THE FOLLOWING from Wiki-pedia:  IN the summer of 1996, the world converged upon Atlanta for the Olympic Games. Multinational corporations spent billions of dollars, and Washington organized an army of security to protect these best of all games. The plan was to force the cancellation of the Games, or at least create a state of insecurity to empty the streets around the venues and thereby eat into the vast amounts of money invested. Sounds like he's trying to get back at big business because the sponsored and are going to make a fortune from it.  This is ANTI-CAPITALIST -- Marxism in another guise.   Leftyladi, you've struck out once. Now, on to the TILLER part.  Be informed, I do not condone abortion, nor do I accept murder or the death penalty.  Doctor Tiller was wrong.  But so was his murderer.  The person forgot the Biblical admonishment:  "Vengeance is mine, I shall Repay, saith the Lord."   I'll accept a strike here.  Right-wing crazy who played G_D.    Museum shooting-  The shooter was a violent racist with anti-Semitic background:  A Nazi.  Nazis are Socialists, leftists.  Doubt it?  "National Socialist White People's Party."  Leftist.  Not "Right Wing Crazy."  LEFTIST.  Strike 1!   Checking the IRS attack in Austin:  I grant CRAZY, but no evidence is given as to political leanings.  Argument inconclusive, therefore not admitted into evidence.   Looking at Unabomber info, I must conclude while crazy, that there is no evidence of political leanings.  This guy was smart -- a 167 IQ is nothing to sneeze at.  He attacked both intellectuals (Libs) and Businessmen.  I am forced to conclude he was an "Equal Opportunity Terrorist," but cannot put a label on his actions.  I am forced to dismiss this conclusion of "Right-Wing".   As for the "religious" groups mentioned -- Hate groups are not religions.  They are ideologies.  The "Aryan Nation" that you mentioned-- is actually based in Hindu and Buddhist beliefs.  They were adopted by Hitler for use.  His NON-Christian effort to destroy the people of Israel is NOT Christian in any size, shape or form.    But some claim "Christian" and some "non-Christian" formats.  While I'll give you a half-point, you get no more.   FINALLY, Leftyladi, you asked "What's Christian about 80 people murdered in Olso.  What's Christian about Hate?"  Can't you see the answer is right in front of you.  NOTHING is Christian about it.  But if it's not Christian, then it must be something else.  If it's something else, then the people who are claiming "Christian" are lying.  Liars aren't Christian.   I'm OPEN to any information or links you can provide, "LeftyLadi."  You show me, I challenge you -- show me where I'm wrong, back up your arguments.    Until then, it's apparent that you've LOST YOUR ARGUMENT  AS I SEE IT!
